Raised in Evanston, Illinois, Thomas Riggs has a BA in philosophy from Georgetown University and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Montana. After working as an editor and researcher at Encyclopaedia Britannica, he founded TRC, a book developer based in Missoula, Montana. He now lives in Nice, France.
