Thomas Riggs & Company began providing content for Nineteenth-Century Literature Criticism in 2004. In 2012 it entered into an agreement with Layman Poupard Publishing to provide the content for the other nine series—Contemporary Literary Criticism, Twentieth-Century Literary Criticism, Literature Criticism from 1400 to 1800, Shakespearean Criticism, Classical and Medieval Literature Criticism, Poetry Criticism, Short Story Criticism, Drama Criticism, and Children's Literature Review.
